The popular CEO Forum track of programming will be back at #NAPEO17, starting with a special dinner with Norbert Putnam on Wednesday, September 7th. Unlike in past years where we’ve featured speakers on business topics, this year we thought we’d have a little fun. Our guest will be Norbert Putnam, a well-known musician and record producer, and author of Music Lessons, Vol. 1. On Thursday, after you hear from keynote speaker Jon Steinberg, former presidentof Buzzfeed in the general session, join him for a special roundtable just for those registered for the CEO Forum. This year’s programming is sure to top last year’s hard-to-beat CEO Forum program! ****CEO Forum is open to C-level employees of member PEO-companies.****
PEO Primer & PEO University
Another great in-person opportunity for those who are new to the PEO industry, NAPEO's PEO Primer & PEO University are being offered as an add-on event to #NAPEO17 before the conference kicks off on Wednesday morning, September 6th These courses will cover the essentials of the PEO-client arrangement, client service agreements, state compliance, and managing liability and exposure. Attendees will gain an understanding of sales and marketing issues, industry trends, HR outsourcing issues, key industry statistics, and operational ratios. The session will start with the PEO Primer for the entire group and then the group will break out into PEO University in focus areas of HR/Legal, which will dive into the more HR and legal focused areas of a PEO operation such as the CSA, outsourcing issues, and liability and Operations/Technology, which will focus on the basics of technology and operations of your PEO.
PEO Primer & PEO University are a great way for senior executives new to existing PEOs, start-up PEO owners, and those looking to join the PEO industry to learn more about co-employment and the PEO business model. It can also be used as a refresher course for anyone looking for more knowledge and insight.
