Alexandria, VA, March 6, 2026 — The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) today announced that NAPEO PAC has received the 2025 Outstanding Association PAC Award from the Public Affairs Council, recognizing excellence and innovation in political engagement.
“NAPEO PAC is essential to building bipartisan relationships and advancing policies that support small and mid-sized businesses,” said NAPEO President and CEO Casey Clark. “With strong support from industry leaders, this creative campaign helped to bolster our concerted efforts to enhance PEO appreciation and comprehension in Washington.”
Seeking to expand participation beyond its core donor base, NAPEO PAC launched a unique barrel-select bourbon campaign through Woodford Reserve’s Distiller’s Personal Select program. Available exclusively to contributing members, the custom bourbon hand-selected by NAPEO PAC members at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, became a symbol of shared advocacy and industry camaraderie.
NAPEO Director of Federal Government Affairs Alex Milliken accepted the award at the Public Affairs Council’s National PAC Conference and presented the strategy behind the PAC’s recent growth. The initiative increased donor participation by 70%, more than one-third of which were first-time donors. The campaign was a major contributor to a record fundraising year for NAPEO PAC.
