Kyle Kizzier Tapped to Lead NAPEO Federal Government Affairs

Alexandria, VA, October 6, 2025 — The National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) today announced the hiring of Kyle Kizzier, chief of staff to Rep. Erin Houchin (R-IN), as its new vice president of federal government affairs. Kizzier will join the association in November.

As a member of the senior leadership team, Kizzier will oversee NAPEO’s federal advocacy efforts, working to advance the interests of the professional employer organization (PEO) industry on Capitol Hill and with federal regulatory agencies.

“Kyle is the right leader to take our federal government affairs efforts to the next level,” said NAPEO President and CEO Casey Clark. “Attracting an experienced leader of his stature will undoubtedly accelerate the momentum we’ve been building in Washington on behalf of the PEO industry, our members and the nearly five million American workers that benefit from a PEO relationship.”

Kizzier has served in his current role as chief of staff to Rep. Houchin (R-IN), a PEO industry champion and former PEO employee, since January 2023. He previously served as chief of staff to Reps. Chris Jacobs (R-NY) and Paul Mitchell (R-MI).  He is a graduate of Michigan State University.

“I look forward to working with the NAPEO team and spearheading the association’s federal government efforts at this important time for the PEO industry,” said Kizzier. “I’m honored to represent an industry that is so critical to the success of American small businesses and their employees.”
