Kate Waggoner is NAPEO’s manager of events and education, bringing nearly five years of experience in association event planning. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing key NAPEO events from start to finish, including the Operations Workshop, NextGen Leadership Workshop and Board of Directors meetings. Kate also plays a significant role in the planning and execution of the Annual Conference & Marketplace and the PEO Capitol Summit.

Kate is deeply involved in advancing NAPEO’s mission to cultivate leadership within the PEO industry. She co-oversees the NextGen initiative, a program designed to inspire and empower the next generation of PEO leaders. As part of this initiative, she helped to launch the NextGen Leadership Class, mentorship cohorts and the NextGen Leadership Workshop, each of which play a crucial role in fostering professional growth among the next generations of PEO professionals.

Prior to NAPEO, Kate was a conference coordinator at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. She graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications.
